Amadis get into a collaboration agreement with Softpay.io for providing its comprehensive pre-certified kernels for integration and EMV level 2 framework. These two resources of Amadis will be integrated into the new Tap-to-Pay solution of Softpay. The new-age Tap-to-Pay is available for download to any Android device, like smartphones or tablets and they turn that device into a comprehensive payment card acceptance terminal. Softpay with its resource provides vendors more scalability that would cut the costs and bring scope for new revenue opportunities.
Emmanuel Haydont, CEO and Co-Founder, Amadis, added “Softpay’s Tap-to-Pay service offers innovative experiences to the world of distribution, transportation and QSR, and our Amadis One software framework helps these segments to market their products faster. Amadis One prepares complex payment processes for use, freeing up resources for merchants to innovate, accelerating time to market and containing costs, while improving the customer experience.”
The Amadis solution comprises an ecosystem for all kinds of EMV kernels to run apart from the EMV level 2 framework. Through Amadis’ new mobile payment’s channels, it ensures Softpay services grant EMV payments on Android COTS devices integrated with NFC functionality. This would enable Softpay to take less time in launching new products and accept payments.
Craig Jacoby, CEO, Softpay.io, commented, “By integrating Amadis One with our Tap-to-Pay solution, merchants can simultaneously revolutionize the customer experience, reduce their costs and offer greater flexibility. Bringing Tap-to-Pay transactions to smartphones reduces the current commissions paid by merchants for card payments, forms new customer interaction points (POIs), and creates innovative ways to interact with customers during the ‘transaction processing.”
Tap-to-Pay solution of Softpay will boost different sectors that including retail and QSR allowing for efficient operation. Staff can take payments and perform various actions across the store or at outdoor collection points. This will help transportation organizations to augment the number of outlets with quick preparation and marketing of new tickets while passengers are travelling by buses and trains.
