Quadient, a company that helps businesses connect with customers through digital and physical channels, has announced a new cloud-based accounts payable (AP) automation solution.
The partnership between Quadient’s solution and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central was previously announced (formerly known as MS Dynamics NAV). According to the official press release, users in North America, the UK, and Ireland will reportedly benefit from this collaboration.
Companies using Business Central on-premises as their ERP are allegedly able to speed up the coding and approval of invoices by integrating Beanworks’ Quadient Accounts Payable Automation. According to the press release, financial professionals can benefit from key features such as unlimited approval channels for automated routing, auto-capture to automatically fill in invoice header information and dollar amounts, and the capability to sync data between systems on a custom schedule or on-demand with a single click.
The vice president, of product management, AP Automation at Quadient stated that, even with great ERP systems, ‘you have several tasks that take two or three minutes. That may not seem consequential in a vacuum, but when you multiply it hundreds of times over, you see why so many accounting teams struggle to make time for more analytical, impactful work’.
The partnership is intended to assist various accounting teams in resolving those issues, claims the company representative. The objective of Quadient’s AP solution is to automate AP workflows so that accounting experts and finance teams can concentrate on work that has a higher economic value. Quadient AP Automation reportedly integrates with a wide range of ERP software programmers, including the recently announced enhancements to Quadient AP Automation with NetSuite. The service is a component of the cloud-based Intelligent Communication Automation software platform from Quadient, which also provides accounts receivable (AR) automation and management, customer communications management (CCM), document automation, and customer journey mapping (CJM).
