Felix Pago, a chat remittance technology provider, and Circle, the financial technology company have partnered to simplify remittance in the Latin American region. Felix will integrate Circle’s payment technology to enable real-time remittance by providing enhanced payment technology.
“By using one of several blockchains that support USDC, our users can send money at the same speed it takes them to send a WhatsApp message to their family and friends. Our collaboration with Circle makes it possible to bring the benefits of cryptocurrencies to the millions of hardworking immigrants who go to great lengths to care for their families, but who are poorly served by traditional providers and their outdated payment rails,” stated Jonathan Kleinman, head of alliances at Félix Pago.
Felix Pago has developed a system based on blockchain technology that enables users to start transactions on WhatsApp, a Meta messaging service widely used by Latino communities, and settle in Circle’s USD Coin (USDC) for quick and affordable cross-border remittances.
Because of user interfaces that are challenging for consumers to use, adoption of blockchain technology has been constrained. With the help of Circle’s infrastructure and the chat solution provided by Félix Pago, users can access stablecoins with safety and easily manage the procedure.
