Western Union and Zain Cash have come together to start digital money transfer services of Western Union via the mobile wallet of Zain Cash. Western Union, a well-known name for cross-border and cross-currency money transactions has partnered with Zain Cash, Middle East’s mobile telecom operator to get the people of Jordan a new digital payment service.
The digital payment service will enable 250,000 Zain Cash customers and more to send up to $14, 000 or JOD10,000 to their bank accounts from their mobile money wallets. Along with this, they can also transfer to their wallets and cards wherever available across 130 countries worldwide. Moreover, users present in 100 countries out of these will be able to send money to themselves in no time. This digital payment will also allow consumers to send money to Western Union agents globally. Jordan consumers will have the facility for funding their wallets from their bank accounts as well as through cash top-up at Zain outlets available in the Kingdom.
